When should I reapply it?
If you are exposed to the sun, it must be reapplied every 2 hours, or more frequently after swimming, sweating, or towel drying.
What does SPF mean?
SPF stands for “Sun Protection Factor”. It measures the amount of UV radiation required to cause a sunburn on SPF-protected skin compared to unprotected skin. The SPF number indicates how many times more protection against UVB rays it provides compared to using no sunscreen. For example, an SPF of 30 effectively absorbs 97% of the sun’s UVB rays. SPF works by absorbing UV rays using synthetic/chemical or organic filters, or by reflecting them using physical filters such as Titanium Dioxide or Zinc Oxide. For effective protection, it is key to choose a broad-spectrum sunscreen (UVA and UVB) and apply it generously and frequently.
Is it a mineral or chemical sunscreen?
Sunkissed uses synthetic sun filters, carefully selected and compliant with global standards, obtained through a chemical process produced from raw materials of organic origin. They leave no white residue and are more easily absorbed.
Does it prevent spots caused by sun exposure?
In addition to avoiding excessive sun exposure, covering up, and wearing a hat and sunglasses, the regular use of a sunscreen can help prevent skin darkening from the sun.
I have oily skin, will this work for me?
Sun Spritz is designed for all skin types, including oily skin. It is oil-free, non-comedogenic, and has a non-greasy finish. It leaves the skin with a natural, hydrated, and luminous finish.
How much sunscreen should I apply daily?
Experts recommend applying enough cream to cover the parts of your body that are exposed to the sun. For the face, we recommend applying the product to three fingers first to obtain the proper amount (equivalent to approximately ¾ of a teaspoon).
How long should I wait between application and sun exposure?
We recommend waiting 15 minutes after application to allow the SPF to absorb and ensure optimal protection.
Does it protect against UVA/UVB rays?
Protects against both UVA and UVB rays. UVA rays can cause premature aging (sagging, wrinkles, and spots) and UVB rays are the main cause of sunburn and skin cancer.
Can I use it with my makeup?
This product is formulated first and foremost as a sunscreen, so it is important to apply it correctly and regularly to ensure proper protection.
For this reason, it should be applied alone and as the final step in your skincare routine.
After applying the SPF, wait a couple of minutes for it to absorb before applying makeup and there will be no issue.
I have dark skin, do I also need to use sunscreen?
No matter your skin tone, everyone needs to use sun protection. In fact, some common concerns for darker skin, such as uneven tone, discoloration, and dark spots, can worsen with sun exposure. And on a more serious note, having good sun protection habits and using SPF regularly helps prevent skin cancer.
